Renaming Accounts

When you open an account at Westminster Savings a "system name" is automatically given to the account. This name appears in Online Banking and on statements.

To allow you to better keep track of your accounts you can rename your chequing and savings accounts in Online Banking. For instance, some members rename their savings accounts to My vacation account or Tax Account, anything to make it easier to keep track of their finances.

Renaming your account in Online Banking is free and simple to do.

How to rename an account

  1. Log in to Online Banking.
  2. On the Account Summary click Rename an Account in the left-hand menu.
  3. Select the Account you wish to rename.
  4. Enter the New Account Name.
  5. Click Continue to confirm your change, and click Submit to make this change.

Your account has been renamed. You can see your change on the Account Summary page.
