Prospera announces payment deferral options for members

Surrey, BC – Prospera is pleased to announce an interim relief program to provide payment deferral options to assist members during the COVID-19 pandemic. Prospera is committed to supporting its members through this difficult time and have introduced this program that includes options for members to defer lending payments. Prospera will support impacted members by offering payment flexibility and/or short-term deferrals on mortgages, loans and leases. The program is directed at members who are experiencing financial hardship as a direct result of COVID-19.

Prospera’s number one priority is the health and wellbeing of its members and employees, says President and CEO Gavin Toy.

“Our focus is on best practices to ensure the health and wellbeing of our staff and our members,” says Toy. “This is not just limited to physical health, but financial health as well. As an organization, we share the concerns being expressed throughout our province and across Canada and are here to support our members through this challenging time. I encourage our members to reach out to us directly should they have concerns about their financial future – we are here to help.”

Prospera is asking individuals and business members to contact us to discuss what options are available to support them, and each request will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
