We've made it easier to log into online banking

We have simplified how you log into online banking. Starting January 25, 2016 you can now enter your Member Card Number and your Personal Access Code directly on our homepage and our online banking login page. You will no longer see the security image that you currently see, but you will still be required to answer your security questions the same way you do today.

What has changed?

  1. The previous screen that displayed your Security Image and Phrase (see screenshot below) has been removed from our login process. For more information on why this was removed please read this notice.

  2. You will can now enter your Member Card and Access Code (PAC) for online banking directly on the homepage of wscu.com.

Does this make online banking less secure?

No, when the security images were introduced in 2007, it was considered a best-in-class anti-phishing technology. Since that time, more sophisticated technologies have been built into all major web browsers (Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari, Opera and Firefox, among others), providing users better protection in a more intuitive manner. Do I need to do anything?

No, starting January 25th when you log into online banking you will enjoy a simpler and shorter login process.
