Position Description

Put your skills, knowledge and experience to work as a Call Centre Representative (aka Agent) in our contact centre (Member Service Centre).  In this role you are responsible for providing superior service delivery over the phone to our members and customers, which includes:

  • Providing prompt, professional customer experiences.
  • Identifying a member's important goals and offering appropriate products and services to help them achieve their goals.
  • Asking clarifying questions to understand the need presented.
  • Processing a wide variety of investment and credit transactions.
  • Includes providing account balances, helping with fraud issues, opening business and personal accounts and resolving issues for customer concerns and complaints.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications Required

You bring the Member Service Centre team the following skills:

  • A minimum of one year's experience in a credit union or bank with exposure to retail lending and deposits or one year's call centre experience.
  • The proven ability to build relationships with customers to meet and exceed their expectations.
  • The proven ability to meet and/or exceed sales goals and targets.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Strong ability to multi-task in a technology-driven environment.
  • Working knowledge and comfort level with Outlook, Word and Excel.

You must be flexible to work Mondays through Fridays from 8 am to 8 pm and Saturdays 8 am to 4 pm.  You are guaranteed a minimum of 60 hours per month, which generally equates to two or three shifts per week.
